DraftKings has announced a $500,000 Fantasy Baseball Bracket Challenge with a $100,000 top prize. The 64-player, qualifier-only live event will begin on a presently unspecified date in late August and run for a period of 10 days achat le viagra. The contest will have a head-to-head format and feature single elimination for rounds of 64, 32, 16 and 8 contestants before switching to a best-of-three series for the Semifinal and Championship rounds. Satellites and Qualifiers Already Underway
Satellites and qualifiers are currently running in the DraftKings lobby, with the former featuring entry fees ranging from as little as .25 cents up to $100.00, and the latter contests being offered at price points between $33.00 and $1,000.
If one or more contestants finish tied in a qualifier contest for the event in which the tie determines who wins the seat to the Bracket Challenge, there will be a tiebreaker playoff contest between the tied DraftKings players, to determine the Qualifier Winner. The scheduling of the tiebreaker playoff contest will be solely determined by DraftKings.

As per DraftKings’s official terms and conditions for the Bracket Challenge, qualifier numbers 1-64 will correspond to that qualifier’s position in the bracket. “Qualifier 1” will be the first position in the top left region. “Qualifier 2” will be the first position in the bottom left region. “Qualifier 3” will be the first position in the bottom right region. “Qualifier 4” will be the first position in the top right region.
Once “Qualifier 5” is designated, they will be placed in the second position in the top left region playing head-to-head against “Qualifier 1”. Subsequent qualifiers will be situated in this same counterclockwise pattern, with every 4 qualifiers being placed in a different region.
As of this writing, five of the available 64 slots for the Bracket Challenge are already filled, with two new qualifier contests, one at the $300 buy-in level and the other at the $33 price point, unfolding on Monday night, July 18. Renowned DFS pro ehafner secured the first seat in the Bracket Challenge, while user dandydon has already qualified for the maximum two seats as well. Users cohenspicks and DeathInvoker have also garnered spots.
A Second MLB Qualifier-Only Event for DraftKings
The Fantasy Bracket Challenge becomes DraftKings’ second MLB-themed qualifier-only event for the 2016 baseball season. The site will also host their flagship MLB contest, the $4 Million Fantasy Baseball World Championship, on August 27 in Toronto.
Co-industry leader FanDuel hosted a $328,000 Fantasy Baseball Bracket Challenge in 2015 for the first time that also consisted of 64 participants, and that concluded with a live final in Las Vegas on August 22nd. In contrast, the DraftKings Bracket Challenge will not have a live final component.
